Held during National Volunteer month, the 6th Annual LIFT Johnstown Project Party attracts hundreds of adults, senior citizens and retirees, middle school, high school and college students, church groups and youth groups who attend to sign up for service hours, volunteer opportunities and internships with non-profits and service organizations in a 5-county area who need volunteer assistance to fulfill their missions. LIFT Johnstown connects non-profits and service organizations with volunteers in the community who are interested in investing some of their free time in projects and programs that make a difference in the quality of life in our region. Participation in the event is free to the community and to non-profits. There will be food, music, door prizes every hour and free workshops offered.
