Illustrating Birds: Real to imagined

Starting with gesture, students will break down the birds into their basic structural shapes.Once a base is developed, you'll learn a few basic ways to add value to the drawings:shading, crosshatching, and value blocking. You'll then discover how to turn these skybound beauties into unique fictitious characters. Once the foundation is there, a bird thatexists can be turned into one that does not with a little imagination.
