The Community Arts Center of Cambria County is proud to announce our 2020 Coffee House Series!
Our Coffee House series takes place twice a month throughout summer, and features a variety of local performances, from Bluegrass to Rock & Roll to Polka, and everything in between! A range of coffees and pastries will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Community Arts Center of Cambria County.
This evening's performance:
August 27 at 7:00 PM - Rosie and the Jammers
RAIN DATE* - September 3 at 7:00 PM
When it comes to putting a tune to the dancing steps there's no better choice than Rosie and the Jammers. This upbeat six-piece act has been a staple at local events and festivals for twenty-two (22) years and is known just as much for their great showmanship as their talent and is always a crowd favorite. Three people that were instrumental in giving the band their professional start were Bill & Deb Marano and Rosemary Hangadus. Rosie and the Jammers was formed for the very first Johnstown Polkafest in 1997 when asked to play by Bill & Deb. Rosie and Rosemary first met while Rosie was playing her button box at a Garden Tour Fundraiser for the Johnstown Symphony. Rosemary stopped to ask questions about the button box. During that conversation, Rosemary asked Rosie if she and her band would like to play at the Log House Arts Festival Labor Day weekend. That was 22 years ago and the band has been a staple at this event ever since.
Members of the group: Rosie Sida, Brian Anater, Eric Furfari, Jim Mosey, Brian Regala and Judy Gaeta.
